Equality is Everyone's Responsibility
Our
security guards in Derby share our equality values – our
security company aims to promote equality in all we do. We encourage our
door supervisors and
security staff to treat everyone as they would like to be treated.
The Security Industry Authority is a great resource for any
security guard looking to keep up to date with the latest news and guidance. This month, they ran a special feature on the private security industry and their responsibilities under the Equality Act.
We train our staff to meet the security industry standards. This means treating both individuals and businesses equally regardless of age, race, religion, sexual orientation or disability. We do everything we can to help our
door supervisors and
security guards in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester meet the expectations laid out in the 2010 Equality Act.
SIA Review - Private Security Skills & Qualifications
In September, the Security Industry Authority announced their plans to review private security skills & qualifications by engaging both industry and stakeholders. At Repton Security Limited we provide our own training for
door supervisors in Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester and beyond – our directors welcomed the review and are keen to hear about the new qualifications available from 2020.
With both of our directors being security industry trainers, we can provide support for
security guards taking mandatory training, increasing the knowledge of our
door supervisors and upskilling our
security staff. The review will be completed during 2019 and further information can be found on the
Security Industry Authority website.

Key-holding & Alarm Response
Our new fleet of Euro 6 vehicles are in full flow with the current extra mobile security service work obtained since the New Year!!
The new contracts include:-
Opening and Locking Up Business / Retail parks in the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire area
Key-holding & Alarm Response at Schools in the Derbyshire and Staffordshire area
Mobile Patrols at various venues in Derbyshire / Staffordshire

The Repton staff are busy working with extended hours at a large shopping centre in the Midlands.
Customer Feedback Review
It is continually important to gain feedback from all of our clients no matter how big or small a contract it is. We have recently sent out customer feedback forms to all of our clients and have received a 98% return rate with excellent marks. Thanks to everyone who took part.

TREETOPS HOSPICE MOONLIGHT WALK RAISES OVER £51,000
Repton Security Limited was very proud to assist Treetops Hospice in their
successful fundraising event. Over 600 women walked through the streets of Derby and raised £51,250 escorted and marshalled by Repton Security's finest.
